Kacee Atkinson
Kacee is the Director of the AWESOME Lighting & Design Team here at SRVA. She’s been with us since 2017. A graduate from Old Dominion University with a degree in political science and a minor in criminal justice. Seems like a unique degree for someone in the wedding industry! After planning her own wedding in 2016, she was not ready to move on from wedding planning. She loved how detail oriented the process was and watching all her design ideas come to life on her big day was an awesome feeling. Kacee’s Favorite part of her job is bringing each client’s vision to life with the perfect color palette and design aspects. Outside of work, Kacee loves spending time with her husband, daughters Peyton, and Scout - going to the beach, brunch, her two dogs Marley & Jameson and game nights with friends. P.S. Sydney joins us from East Carolina University, where she earned a degree in Hospitality Management, with a concentration in Conventions and Special Events. She was also a member of their NCAA Division I Volleyball team. Previously, Sydney ran both adult and youth volleyball leagues and tournaments in the Hampton Roads area. As a lover of music, she loves to attend as many concerts and festivals as possible. Sydney loves the lighting and production aspect that goes into these types of events which led her to us! In her spare time, you can catch her at a show, playing a game of volleyball or spending time with friends and family.
